More on The Doom of Kings

Oops — actually a few day old now, but fellow Eberron writer Jeff LaSala, author of The Darkwood Mask, has been reading The Doom of Kings and posted an early review on his blog at ashlock.org.

If you read the book and say something (hopefully good!) about it on your blog, let me know so I can post it here!

Just a little FYI. There is something wrong with the coding in the above links. I think you have an extra http:// in front of everything.

Strange – thanks for catching that!

I just started the book today and I’m almost exactly halfway through the book. So far I’m gripped with the prospects and in particular the political wheelings and dealings. Your insights into goblin (err…sorry, dar) culture sound like they are coming straight out of Keith Baker’s mouth, and as usual (and by usual I mean unusually good like the Dragon Below series) your writing draws me in and the personalities play off each other and internalize in incredibly compelling ways.

Two word half-done-the-novel review: Love it.

Ok, finished the book this morning, and I have to say I am looking forward to the sequel IMMENSELY. I don’t think, at this point, in the afterglow, I would change a single thing. Awesome, awesome stuff. Wow.

Yeah, that book took me in as well. Best fantasy read i had in a long time. (dating back to the dark elf trilogy)

keep them going, i’d wish all three books of this gem were out already!
