Hollandaise hypotaxis

Why? Because they leaped out at me from a spam comment I just trashed. They roll off the tongue nicely, don’t you think? Hollandaise Hypotaxis sounds like he could be a character — slightly unsavory, a little on the chunky side.

What news? Well, we’re planning a wee vacation in a month and a bit (all other things permitting) so the next while should be pretty busy. I’m working on the next book in the Legacy of Dhakaan trilogy (The Doom of Kings available in August — be there or be chaat’oor), I’m forcibly making time in my day to work on an original novel (finally!), I’m hitting the gym (summer’s coming!), and I’m trying to work out how best to get a headstart on my two on-going freelance gigs. I also have a resolution to touch up the blog a bit — maybe a new theme, maybe start dropping in pictures a little more often, maybe get a tag cloud set up, maybe finally update my I’m Reading list. A friend asked me for advice about setting up a website recently and I’m realizing I could be doing a lot more with WordPress than I currently am.

And plow through my Big Stack of Books to Be Read. Working in publishing has left me with a lot of choice in reading material.
