This is the perfect image for this scene and even better in the context of what has happened just before it. I’m really enjoying the Nine Lives of Chloe King series, BTW — sharp, fun writing, good dialogue, well-paced. And it turns out that the author (aka Tracy Lynn, aka Liz Braswell) is, like me, heavily into Mass Effect at the moment. Her website | Her blog.
